Pre 64 Winchester Model 70 300 Magnum (H&H) Super Grade Superb!
Description: Extraordinary Pre 64 Winchester 70 Super Grade in 300 Magnum caliber (300 H&H). S/N 108*** with matching scribed bolt made in 1949. This is a late carryover from the transition period and retains a pre war style clover leaf tang. Condition is outstanding and I do not believe this rifle had ever been disassembled prior to my internal inspection. Original Blue and Varnish are 98-99%. All components are correct for this vintage Super Grade including the Redfield gold bead front sight. The swivels are also present and included. The barrel is 26" with an excellent bore. The mechanical function is smooth and proper in all regards. This is a beautifully clean rifle in a somewhat scarce caliber/configuration that would be difficult to upgrade.
