Pre 64 Winchester Model 70 300 SAVAGE Ultra Rare!!

Description:
Very fine and ULTRA rare 300 Savage Standard rifle. Only cataloged for 1 year in 1947, but sold until 1954, this is the rarest standard chambering with only 362 ever made! S/N 93931 with matching scribed bolt made in 1948.
Condition is superb for a 73 y.o. rifle showing 98% Blue other than the buttplate which shows a bit more wear, and 97% Varnish with light handling marks. Bore is mint and mechanics are perfect. These almost never surface and to find one in this shape is practically unheard of.
