Pre 64 Winchester Model 70 SUPER GRADE 375 H&H MAGNUM Rare!

Description:
Superb condition Model 70 Super Grade in exceedingly scarce 375 HH Mag. S/N 182*** with matching scribed bolt made in 1951. 99% condition everywhere and NO cracks inside or out. 25" C-1 taper barrel with minty bore.
Mechanics perfect. All correct components are present and in minty condition as well including SG stamped Floorplate, Proper swivels, Redfield 255 full length gold bead front sight. etc. The pad is correct, bright and soft and original issue as on all of the 375s produced. There was NO factory jeweling on inner action parts of Supers until about 1955, nor any special stamps under barrel or recoil lug.
I would normally sell this rifle for $7500, but previous owner had a scope mounted and the rear sight has been removed so I am reducing price appropriately. The correct vintage sight for 1951 would be the slightly elevated ramp with Lyman 6W two leaf flip sight inserted into the ramp's dovetail. (same flip sight as on early M54s). There are currently original 6-48 filler plugs in the 2 factory drilled barrel holes. These sights are not too difficult to find, but the one I have is 1 1/4" hole spacing ctc and this rifle is 1 3/4" ctc.
Among the best of this caliber and configuration that you will ever see offered.
