When introduced in 1936 as "The Rifleman's Rifle," the Winchester Model 70 set the standard for Mauser-inspired, controlled feed, sporting rifles. This one was manufactured in 1951, and is in very good condition with a few defects that could be defined as cosmetic handling marks.
