Description: Winchester Model 70 Standardweight Pre-64 .270 Winchester 24" barrel 8lbs 2oz Metal is in very good condition. There are normal rubs, scuffs, scratches and loss of finish on the corners and other appropiate places. Original sight hood, sling swivels and steel buttplate are still present. Wood is in good to very good condition. Stock has no cracks and has not been cut or refinished. There are many rubs, nicks, scrapes, scratches and dings and flaking of the finish. Bore is bright with strong rifling. The rifle shows 67 years of honest wear, and there is likely a story behind each mark that it carries.
