Winchester Model 70 220 Swift 1939 Excellent! CA OK!

Description:
Amazingly nice condition Model 70 220 Swift from 1939.
26" barrel has beautiful, crisp, shiny bore and rifling.
Barrel shank, under the stock, stamped 37 and 222 
Griffin and Howe side mount has hidden screw heads, indicating it was done at G&H
Sadly, the scope is not present. Source a 2-lever base and scope of your liking...They are out there.
Pachmayr safety lever was available as a factory special order (Rule's book, p.258) or by sending the bolt directlty to Pachmayr for fitting.
Wood and metal finishes are remarkably nice, with only minor scattered handling marks in the wood, a stain at the front sharp edge of the grip, thinning blue on the butt plate. 
Condition inside the stock and action is just as nice.
Matching # bolt.
