Original sight hood and sling swivels
Mfg. 1937
Steel in in good condition, with nicks, scuffs and dings, there is significant bluing loss in some areas. There has been 1 hole drilled in the rear receiver ring to accommodate a scope mount, and the bolt handle has been ground to clear a scope. The safety is very stiff.
Wood is in good condition, with scuffs dings and dents. There are some larger dent/gouges in the right side of the buttstock (see pic). the stock has been cut and a pad added.
Bore is bright with strong rifling.
This would make a great field gun for deer or elk, especially if you prefer a great receiver sight.
