Winchester Pre-64 Model 70 in 220 Swift
Description:
This is a very well-cared for standard-barreled (stainless) pre-64 Model 70 in 220 Swift made in 1951, Serial no. 180889. The metal is 97%+ with no noticeable mars, scratches, or nicks. The wood has some shallow blemishes from ordinary handling/use with some finish-flaking near the end of buttstock on both sides (see pictures). There are no cracks or deep gouges/ scratches or indents in wood. It sports a like new, vintage Weaver (Model C-10-3X) fixed 10-power scope with fine crosshair reticle on Redfield base and rings. It is in excellent functioning condition with a shiny bore and excellent rifling. (Doubt fired over 200 times total.)
In addition, rifle comes with the following loaded ammunition, once-fired brass, and empty brass, all in their factory boxes (4 in value-added vintage boxes) and a reloading manual for 220 Swift. (See picture, please.)
LEFT ROW (Loaded Ammunition): Hornady V-MAX 50 gr, 20 rounds; Remington soft point 50 gr, 20 rounds; and Winchester Ballistic Silver Tip 40 gr, 12 rounds with 8 empties. Total 52 loaded plus 8 empties.
MIDDLE ROW (Brass only): 2 boxes, 20 each, of Western Super-X and 2 boxes, 20 each, of Remington Kleanbore (one box primed). All in their vintage boxes. Total 80.
