"Winchester 70 Super Grade Pre-64 .257 Roberts (W11305)

"

Rare and desirable pre-64 Super Grade in .257 Roberts. This is a transitional model made in 1946. The receiver has been drilled and tapped for a side scope mount, which might have been factory ordered on a Super Grade. A Leupold 3.5x10 scope is mounted now on top of the receiver. The metal is about excellent with 98% original blue finish. The stock has the sling swivels and a factory recoil pad present, and shows light wear. A good looking pre-64 Super Grade in a very rare caliber.
