CUSTOM ENGRAVED WINCHESTER MODEL 70 RIFLE IN CALIBER .257 ROBERTS

Description:
24 inch round barrel chambered in 257 Roberts caliber with a bright shiny excellent bore. Sights include a ramped front with hood and sporting rear with a Lyman 57WJS receiver sight. Barrel and action have most all blue remaining with 2 drilled and tapped holes forward of rear sight. Jeweled bolt. Customized Winchester walnut stock is in very good condition with just some light handling mars. It features an added black forearm tip and a checkered ivory grip cap as well as Super Grade swivels. An elegantly engraved trigger guard and magazine floor plate feature gold line borders and a gold inlaid bear and buffalo with a leaping stag. Checkered steel butt plate. This custom "Pre-64" Winchester Model 70 was manufactured in 1937.
