The Winchester model 70 is one of the finest bolt action rifles ever made, known for its reliability and accuracy. This first generation Pre WW2 Supergrade rifle has been lovingly re finished to factory fresh, the only wear is on the trigger guard which seems to have not been re finished. The pre WW2 rifles are notable for having the front sight ramp forged into the barrel as a one piece unit and have a different safety assembly, many first generation rifles also have a stripper clip guide for faster loading, such as this one.
