Description: Only 8,297 Model 56 rifles were made between 1926 and 1929. This cute little Sporting rifle has a 22 inch round barrel chambered in 22 LR. The metal has toned to smoky gray with handling marks. The walnut stock with Schnabel style forend is in good condition with an oil finish added. The checkered steel factory buttplate shows some wear. This rifle features original sights and includes a five-round magazine. Should make a fun shooter.
