Winchester ~ Model 1905 ~ .35 Cal.

Description:
This Winchester Model 1905 was manufactured in 1906, the second year of manufacture for the 1905, and one of only 29,113 manufactured between 1905 and 1920. Gun remains in very good overall condition. Wood has patinaed and turned darker with age but remains free of cracks, dings and scratches. Metal has some original blue left on receiver barrel with little left on barrel. Metal has also patinaed with age with a few spots of oxidation and light pitting. Bore still has traces of rifling but could use a good cleaning. Butt plate is solid with no cracks and wood remains proud with metal and butt plate. Top tang remains without screw. Original iron sights remain. Bolt spring is very tight and function appears correct. Somewhere during the last 117 years the magazine has been lost. This would make a good project gun or starting gun for the Winchester collector. Neat old firearm! .35 Winchester
