The exterior exterior of this rifle has been cleaned to semi-bright, most likely to remove rust and shallow pitting, but the metal overall is otherwise crisp-edged and devoid of any serious damage or blemishes and can be easily toned down to be looking more natural. VG wood although on close inspection, it is evident that the buttstock is an old replacement (but a good one, the wood just being a little “proud” at the lower tangs) . Standard sights. Round barrel ‘73s, while being less expensive and “standard” are considerably less common than the octagon barreled rifles, plus it is difficult to find a “no-finish” ’73 with such a nice bore! About “VG” $1995
