#4923 Winchester 1873 RBFMCB 44WCF, 6XXX (1875!!), scarce 1st Variation with mortised thumbprint dustcover, VG bore (about a 7+ on a scale of 10), VG action and has the desirable single set trigger, which is working, but does need some adjusting. Smooth plum brown exterior metal, no pitting of mention and VG markings. The wood does have some “dishing” to the forearm from being carried across a saddle but otherwise is VG+ wood. Really decent and very early First Model ’73. About VG+ as described. $2850.
