"U.S. Model 1840 Contract Musket by L. Pomeroy .69 caliber (AL9917) CONSIGNMENT

Description:
"NSN, circa 1840's( last number is hard to read) .69 caliber, 24.5"" cut down smooth bore barrel. Musket is in relic condition with dark brown patina with oxidation visible throughout. Musket has been converted from flintlock to percussion. Action does not function correctly and nipple is missing. Faint markings are visible on lock plate, stock has expected nicks, dings and scratches visible, initials are carved into the left side of the butt stock. Ram-rod has been removed. Consignment
