1887 Winchester 1873 chambered in .44
Description:
Available for purchase is this honest old '73 Winchester, One of 720,000+! Chambered in .44, the barrel is 26" from breech to muzzle. Some old blue in very protected spaces, but as you can see this is primarily a brown gun. It's possible that a few screws were replaced, certainly the front and rear sights were. The front is a Marble #6, the rear is also a Marbles. Stock and fore end are solid and not loose on the gun, nothing in the butt trap. The action works, but obviously needs a complete disassemble and cleaning, and likely a new hammer spring at least. Bore looks like an old stove pipe, but lots of rifling visible and it may clean to better. There are 13 notches cut long, long ago into the right side of the butt stock. Indians or deer, who knows. All markings are clear on the top flat of the barrel. The Old West in your hands right here. In order to protect your investment, all long guns over $500 must be shipped in a hard case. Minimum shipping at this level is $55 and includes the hard case. Shipping cost could increase depending on value or weight of the firearm. For long guns less than $500, we still recommend the purchase of a hard case, again to protect your investment. These numbers are for shipping to the lower 48. There is also a 3% surcharge for customers using a credit card on internet sales. Thank you!
