Standard 20 inch carbine configuration chambered in the desirable 44 WCF caliber with a good bore that does show a slight bulge from a couple of rings about 2 inches from the muzzle. Barrel and magazine tube are a brown color. Sights include a pinned blade front and a carbine folding ladder rear. Receiver is a gray/brown color. Original saddle ring is present. Hammer and lever are also a gray/brown color as well. Weathered stocks have usage mars a few cracks and chips. Carbine style buttplate. Smooth action. This Winchester was made in 1895. Hard to find example with an antique serial number Model 1892 SRC in desirable 44-40 for "Cowboy Action" events.
