EXTREMELY RARE WINCHESTER MODEL 1873 14 INCH SHORT RIFLE IN 44 WCF
Description: Very scarce 14 inch octagon barrel chambered in the desirable 44 WCF caliber. Sights include a German silver blade front and typical Winchester sporting rear. Has the correct short forearm wood. Gun blends well in condition having a deep brown patina over all of the metal. Walnut stock is also dark and somewhat oil soaked giving it a very nice look. Rifle style buttplate. No dust cover. Action is a little sloppy and the bore is pretty rough. This is a hard to find gun for your collection and it has that been there and done that character to it.
