NICKEL PLATED WINCHESTER 1866 SRC
Description:
Caliber 44 RF. Standard 20 inch barrel with full length mag tube and the rarely encountered rifle style butt. Original sights. This was a full nickel gun with traces of nickel remaining in protected areas on the barrel and mag tube with balance a silver/grey/brown color. Strong original nickel remains on the receiver, hammer, lever and saddle ring. A little thinning on the butt plate with brass showing through. Wood is over all really nice condition with light handling marks and most original varnish. Crisp action. Good bore with shine and rifling present. This is a great looking gun from 1874 with just the right amount of wear. It was used but taken care of.
