Untouched Winchester 3rd Model 1866 Saddle Ring Carbine Made in 1875

Description:
Brass frame retains a pleasing dark patina with some light handling marks. All markings are clear. King's Improvement barrel address. 3rd model gun made in 1875 as per factory records. Wood has a pleasing untouched look to it with nice raised grain and some light ahndlign amrks. Fine bore with strong rifling and some minor pitting. This is a .44 rimfire gun. Fine mechanical function, action is nice and tight. Saddle ring on the left side of the receiver. Trap in butt does not have any cleaning rods. 20 inch barrel. The very end of the lever which would engage the lever catch is broken off and has been gone for quite some time (see last picture). Steel parts retain a pleasing dark brown patina with some rust on the barrel. Original sights. Just a really great untouched gun. Serial number is 125124
