VERY HIGH CONDITION ANTIQUE 1873 .32-20 CALIBER, OCTAGON RIFLE, #392XXX, MADE 1891
Description: VERY HIGH CONDITION ANTIQUE 1873 .32-20 CALIBER, OCTAGON RIFLE, #392XXX, MADE 1891. This is really a beautiful investment quality Winchester. The barrel and magazine retain nearly all the original deep blue with only the most minor or age and Exc. markings overall. The receiver also retains most of the deep Winchester blue, again, with only minor ageing and slight edge wear with only a touch of plum mixing on the upper tang. The dust cover blue is turning plum from age. The stock and forearm are generally excellent showing only light normal handling and very tight wood to metal fit. The brass lifter has not been polished; buckhorn rear sight. Front sight is the typical Winchester blade. Tight action, about excellent fairly bright bore with maybe some minor spots toward the middle of the bore that might even brush out. A Cody Firearms call-in sheet verifying all aspects of this rifle is included. Excellent screws and overall a superior 129 year old 1873.
