Presented for sale is a fantastic example of a highly sought-after, pre-1964 Winchester Model 1894 lever action rifle. This rifle, with a serial number of 298336, was manufactured in 1906. The rifle is in remarkable condition for its age. The bluing on the metal surfaces shows a beautiful aged patina, with a better-than-average amount of original finish remaining. There are minor handling marks and blemishes on both the metal and wood, which are to be expected from a firearm that is over 115 years old and has a rich history. The wood stock and forend are solid with small dings and scratches, but no major cracks or chips. The action is smooth and functions flawlessly, and the bore is in good shape for a rifle of this vintage.
