This Winchester Model 1866 Saddle Ring Carbine, manufactured in 1875, is a well-preserved example of one of the most historic lever-action rifles of the 19th century. Chambered in .44 Henry Rimfire, this carbine features a 20-inch barrel, a design favored for its compact size and quick handling. The rifle remains in very good condition for its age, retaining its original brass receiver, which still holds its classic warm patina. The barrel and magazine tube were originally blued, but now exhibit a naturally aged, worn finish.
