Winchester Model 1873 Rifle ,Button Mag, 38-40 cal Bore has strong rifling with some very fine pitting, Mech Exc, Wood VG to near Exc has a light coat of old varnish. Has an original 24” Rd Barrel with original sights and excellent markings address and cal markings. The receiver has an original dust cover and has Model 1873 markings on the top tang also has been tapped for tang sight. The lower Tang has the Serial #352,871 Mfg’d 1890. The brass carrier has an excellent 38 cal marking. The stock has the original crescent buttplate with compartment. Metal overall has 40% Original blue finish fading with no pitting, A very clean and unabused rifle.
