Standard 20 inch carbine configuration chambered in the desirable 44 WCF caliber. Nickeled receiver with about 15-20% nickel remaining in protected areas with the balance of metal a deep brown coloration. Carbine Butt-stock is solid with typical handling marks and filled hole from sling swivel mount, forearm has a crack along the front bottom back to the carbine band. Bore is fairly bright with scattered light pitting throughout and good rifling. Replaced non-standard fixed rear sight. Elevator marked with some initials. Not a bad looking carbine that was made in 1880 and shows some "Western" flair.
