The parts are from leftover inventory and as I am told, the serial number could be accurate. Don't know if it was a gun that was sent back for repairs or was just never issued. The barrel is a Product Service (Warranty Barrel) with a perfect bore. Don't know who did the engraving or finish work. Very professionally done. Selling as a 2nd Model Antique which requires no paperwork to purchase. Records on these are incomplete and not reliable. Have reduced the asking price significantly. These guns were bringing mid to high 4 figures with the Rabbit & Squirrel Engraving pattern until Browning put a stop to that because of proprietary infringement.
