Antique classic Winchester Model 1885 High Wall single shot Sporting Rifle. Serial number 51803, manufactured in 1891. 30" No.3 Half Round Half Octagon Barrel. Plain Trigger. Caliber 45-70, barrel was originally a 40-60WCF and has had new liner installed in caliber 45-70. Bore is MINT. Flat top Buckhorn style rear and bead front sights. 13 1/2" length of pull to original metal crescent rifle butt plate. Antique Very Good to Fine overall condition with very nice aged patina finish overall, wood has not been sanded or refinished and retains excellent wood to metal fit(See photos). Nice and tight action. Antique, does not require FFL for shipping to most areas of the US.
