Rare Caliber Winchester 1885 High Wall 40-70 Ballard Set Trigger

Description:
Up for your consideration is a 1885 Winchester High Wall Special order in rare 40-70 AKA (40-63) Marlin Ballard caliber, with only approximately 316 made in this caliber makes this a rare one. This High Wall was made in 1892. Gun is sporting a 30" Octagon Number 3 Barrel, and a Single set trigger that works works beautifully. Case colored frame that has silvered, tight action and a shiney strong bore with the slightest roughness just ahead of chamber. All original with excellent wood, all screw heads sharp, and just a fine old Winchester that is 133 years old. I will let the pictures describe the condition of the Winchester, that were taken outside in bright sunlight which is rare here in Minnesota in the winter. I also tried too take a picture of the bore, that seems to never turn out quite right. This one being an antique can be mailed directly to you. Nice Highwall and well taken care of. Price includes shipping through USPS. If you would like insurance that would be extra. No international sales.

Hard to find Winchester Special Order colletable in this rare caliber that is in fine shape and used very little!
