"CUSTOM WINCHESTER 70/54 SUPER GRADE RIFLE .270 W.C.F. (W13551)

Description:
"SN: 45221A. Bolt action Sporting rifle with a 24"" barrel chambered in 270 WCF with an excellent bore. This is a custom rifle that was built using an original pre-64 Model 70 Super Grade stock with inlet 1/2"" swivel bases, original butt plate and grip cap, SUPER GRADE marked bottom metal and the barrel with ramped front sight and original hood is marked Model 70. This was all assembled on a Winchester 54 receiver so while it does not have the 3 position safety, it is still control round feed with a full length claw extractor and has a factory installed Griffin & Howe side mount base and Lyman peep sight with filler block. Wood and metal finish show average wear with the only damage being a small chip in the grip cap but overall in very good condition. Comes with a Bausch & Lomb 2.5-8 variable power scope.
