Built in 1956, this Winchester is chambered in .243 Winchester, released in 1955. Probably one of the first rifles chambered for that cartridge. The rifle appears in very good condition with only handling marks one the stock, and blue fade on the floor plate. This will make an excellent choice for a deer or varmint hunter looking for a low recoil rifle for hunting or pest control. .243 Winchester
