Description:
This Winchester M70 - Pre 64 is to me a very collectable piece. It was Mfg in 1953,serial no. 291XXX.
It's a Cal 30-06 w/matching serial numbered bolt. The bluing is abt 98% w/the receiver showing no evidence
of any scope mountings. The Walnut stock is also very nice & abt 93% w/a clean Steel & Horned Butt Plate.
There are some markings at the butt late. To me it is getting rarer to find these M-70's in this kind of VG to
Excellent & in an original condition.
I would rate this very niece Win M70 & w/an "NRA VG to Excellent". This to me is a good prospect for those Win M70 collectors who wish to both use as a sporting piece & have as a collectable.
(If you want more pics, just ask please !)
