Winchester ~ Jaeger ~ Double Rifle ~ 7X57 Mauser

Description:
Winchester Jaeger Model double express over under rifle chambered in 7x57 Mauser. The barrels retain about 99% original blue with engine turning on the breech face and sides. The coin finished frame is factory engraved with foliate scroll and floral engraving surrounding game scenes of antelope on the left, bighorn sheep on the right, and deer on the belly below "WINCHESTER / Jaeger"; the forend iron is coin finished with foliate scroll engraved. The checkered capped pistol grip walnut stock and forend are in excellent condition. This gun also features a satin finished steel grip cap, left-side cheekpiece, schnabel forend tip, sling swivel studs, automatic safety switch. The barrels are 23.5" with extractors and a ramped Lyman bead front sight and Lyman folding u-notch rear sight on the quarter rib. The scope is a Leuplod 2x7 VARI-X 2 with clear glass and is mounted in a Jaeger-style turn-off scope mount. Serial AMSR_78E. 7x57 Mauser
