In excellent condition the metal surfaces show virtually all, 97-98% original blue finish with only minor handling marks a few tiny freckles on the receiver. The walnut stock and forearm have crsip checkering and bright gloss varnish that remains in excellent condition as is the original plastic Winchester butt plate. It is equipped with the rear sporting and hooded front sights and is mechanically sound with a smooth action. A desirable Winchester rifle in high condition.
