Bore is bright and shiny with strong visible rifling and the drift adjustable front sight is equipped with a visibility bead. The capped forearm is made of smooth walnut and the buttstock is the same with a straight grip, straight comb and a straight steel buttplate with horizontal serrations. Checkering is present on the forearm and the stock wrist. The factory rear sight assembly has been removed and replaced with receiver mounted fully adjustable Redfield peep sight assembly. Forward tang screw is a replacement part.
