SERIAL NUMBER: 203619. BARREL: 16.25" CALIBER: .357 MAG. MANUFACTURED: 1902. Barrel is a later custom replacement, with the caliber being re stamped. Factory Model markings on the tang.Hooded Post blade front sight and U-notch leaf rear. Patina/Blued finish. Crescent metal butt plate. CONDITION: Metal is good overall, with mixed gray patina. Wood has handling marks and scrapes. Rear sling swivel is filled in. Bore is shiny with strong rifling. Mechanically fine. Great vintage 1892 Winchester in a modern magnum cartridge with a great legal short Trapper length barrel. One very cool pack or camp gun.
