FLATBAND Winchester Model 94 Pre-64 32 WS Carbine Made About 1949
Description: **** SALE PENDING TONY T 6/26/2022 1255 **** Pre-64 Winchester Model 94 carbine with the desirable front "flatband" in caliber 32 Winchester Special, 20" round barrel with ramped front sight (hood missing), full magazine, plain walnut stocks, long fore end, plain trigger, open rear sight, shotgun butt with checked steel butt plate, blued finish, serial number 1456177 made during the period for which no factory records exist but should be around 1949. CONDITION: Barrel and mag tube retain 95% bright original blue with some carry wear at the breech of the barrel. Receiver likewise has same amount of blue where the blue is present but does have carry wear on the front underside that has silvered out. Stocks are sound with no splits or cracks, no extra holes, still tight and even, normal light nicks and dings from use. Bore is excellent, bright and shiny with sharp rifling, a 9.5 of 10. Action is crisp and the half cock safety functions as designed. Overall excellent condition. Should make a fine shooter/hunter as well as increase in value over time as a collector's item being a Pre-64 Flatband.
