Description: Nice condition Pre-64 Winchester Model 94 carbine in caliber 32 WS aka 32 Winchester Special, one of the most accurate and under-appreciated rounds Winchester made. Those who shoot this regularly know how accurate it is! This carbine bears serial number 1153593, putting manufacture in 1938, just a few years prior to WWII. Standard features of blued finish, plain walnut stocks, plain trigger, ramped front sight with hood, semi-buckhorn rear sight with 3C elevator, shotgun butt with serrated steel butt plate, 20" round barrel, full magazine and two barrel bands. Typical of this vintage, the receiver blue has flaked away, leaving a gun-metal gray color. The barrel and mag tube retain 85% bright original blue with some spotty loss and surface crud that should carefully clean off. Action is tight and crisp. Half cock safety functions as it should. Feeds and fires perfectly. Stocks are sound with no splits or cracks, no extra holes, never sanded or refinished. Beautiful bright, shiny bore. Grades NRA Modern Very Good and a nice addition to your Winchester collection. Take her out and shoot her - she was made for it! All original, untouched and not fooled with.
