Description:
Model 1895 405.WCF Deluxe Rifle. Front sight Lyman white beaded. Rear blank filled and early Lyman 21 platinum bead marked receiver sight. Stocks are checkered select walnut shotgun butt with steel buttplate. Stocks have the normal scattered nicks and scuffs ect. checkering shows some wear as is expected still well defined. Lop is "12 3/4" from the front of trigger to the back of buttplate. Overall the stocks are VERY GOOD condition. Bore is simi-bright with sharp filing. Bore rates 7.5 out of 10 in my opinion. The rifle retains about 90% metal finish. The finish is thinning at edges as is nomial. Some minor light nicks and scatches minor oxidation as you would expect with 100-Plus year old guns. Screw heads look sharp , markings are clear and crisp Over all this rifle is in Very Good condition.
