Description: ***SOLD*** Honest age and wear but a very decent '73 44 WCF saddle ring carbine with a great, bright bore and solid mechanical function.. S/N 718068B made in 1923. 20" barrel showing fairly strong and consistent blue, as do the mag tube, lever and hammer. The receiver and buttplate have taken on a mottled grey-brown patina. The wood is uniformly smooth throughout with no notable marring and no cracks, just some scattered shallow dents on bottom of forend and a couple of small but deeper creases near front of comb. The buttstock has dulled and darkened somewhat. Please add $100 for expedited and fully insured shipping from Alaska in a custom cut foam lined box for maximum protection.
