For Sale is a hard-to-find original Winchester 1892 SRC 44-40 Rifleman Rifle, just like what was used on the TV show The Rifleman
I got this one from an estate sale. This Rifle was born in 1904. Transformed by Mike DiMuzio, who was the apprentice of Chuck Connors Gunsmith, Moe Hunt. Near as I can tell in 2010.
They knew it was something other than just a Winchester, but the son had taken the lever off and placed a regular lever on it and abused it. The wood was so beat up that I had to change it out.
I had to clean the rifle up and replace the front barrel band. I also had the Rifle and Lever re-blued and replaced all the Screws.
The rifle is now an heirloom to be passed down.
It is now mechanically in great shape.
I am asking $5,295.00 OBO for this one and it comes with the Rifleman Lever on it, Regular lever,100 rounds of Live Cowboy ammo, 11 Dummy rounds for practicing inside. A three Ring binder with all sorts of info, the Rifleman embroidered padded case. $75.00 to ship everything to your FFL and you.
