Description:
This Winchester Model 1894 is a lever action repeating rifle in .30 W.C.F. (30-30 Winchester) Cal. It has a cut down 18.5 inch octagon barrel and magazine tube. The muzzle is cut uneven with a slight slant and no sign of a crown. The sights are replacements with a front blade sight and an adjustable notch rear sight. The top tang has been drilled and tapped for a peep sight. The butt stock is a straight grip and has been sanded slightly undersize for the cresent butt plate, and the forearm has several splits and cracks including one running along the full bottom of the hand guard. This rifle was manufactured in 1901.
