Description:
Winchester model 1894 SRC, chambered in .30-30. Made in 1919 this gun is now 104 years old and appears, except maybe for the wood finish, that all finishes are original. The metal finishes are all fading, with the barrel blue being very good and the frame almost completely grey. The cosmetic condition of this SRC is nice and even wear as one would expect for gun of this age.
Mechanically it feels like new. The lock-up is strong and tight. All moving parts glide smoothly, and the bore is bright and strong. Notice the screw head slots are good
So, this gun has had a long service life. It was well maintained throughout its existence and the exterior wear is “used not abused”.
