S/N 125529 made in 1901.
Retaining virtually all of its beautiful and untouched original finish on both metal and wood, still rating approximately 95% condition with only very light wear after 124 years!
Strong case colors remain on the hammer, lever, and buttplate as well.
26" octagon barrel with full length magazine tube.
MINT bore combined with crisp and flawless mechanical functions throughout.
Original sights consist of a German silver front and a Winchester sporting rear with patent stamped C series elevator.
Comes with a typewritten card of provenance from the Winchester Museum, signed by museum curator T.E. Hall back in 1970.
This remarkable rifle appears to have seen little to no actual use and should prove to be among the absolute finest you will encounter.
