This 25-20 Winchester Model 1892 lever action rifle, manufactured in 1914, has a 20” tapered round 7/8” to 5/8” patinaed barrel mounted with an old aftermarket adjustable rear sight and an original Winchester blade front sight. The bore has good rifling with some scattered light frosting. There is a section of deep metal scratches on the outside of the barrel 2-1/2” from the muzzle. The left side of the barrel is stamped with 25-20 W.C.F. and Manufactured By The Winchester Repeating Arms Co. New Haven, Conn. USA. Patented October 14, 1884. The Walnut butt stock with patinaed butt plate and forend are attached to the patinaed receiver. The upper tang is stamped with Model 1892 – Winchester – Trade Mark Reg. in US Pat. Off. This rifle is in good condition with the exception of usage dents, dings, several deep scratches on both sides of the butt stock and a repaired crack in front of the lower tang. The length of pull is 12-3/4”, overall length is 38”, weight is 6 lbs. Our stock number is A772. Will ship to any FFL anywhere in the United States. Buyer pays freight and insurance.
