Description: C344 Winchester – Model 1892 – SRC – 44W.C.F - Stk #C344 This 44W.C.F Winchester Model 1892 SRC lever action rifle, manufactured in 1912, has a 20” tapered round 7/8” to 5/8” barrel mounted with a ladder style fold down rear sight and a blade front sight. The bore is in very good condition. There are two small niches in the top of the barrel about half way down. The left side of the barrel is stamped with 44 W.C.F and Manufactured By The Winchester Repeating Arms Co. New Haven, Conn. USA. Patented October 14, 1884. The Walnut butt stock with metal Carbine butt plate and forend are attached to the receiver that is mounted with a saddle ring. The action has a bronze patina color and functions as intended. The functionality of this rifle is smooth and tight with a crisp trigger. The upper tang is stamped with Model 1892 – Winchester – Trade Mark Reg. in US Pat. Off. This rifle is in very good condition with the exception of scattered usage dents and dings. The length of pull is 12-7/8”, overall length is 37-1/4”, and the weight is 6.1 lbs.
