WINCHESTER MODEL 1894 20 INCH SHORT RIFLE IN 30 WCF

Description:
20 inch octagon nickel steel barrel chambered in 30 WCF caliber. Full length magazine. Correct shorter forearm. Most thinning barrel and mag blue remain. Lyman front sight and a replaced sporting rear. A good bore with visible rifling that could use a good cleaning. Receiver is a plum/brown patina with original blue showing through in protected areas. Traces of case color on the hammer and lever. Very crisp action. Walnut stocks are in good condition with some minor handling mars as well as some good traces of original varnish. Crescent rifle style buttplate. A good example of a getting harder to find 1894 Short Rifle from 1908.
