Winchester Model 1894 Octagon, takedown .32 W.S.
This is a vintage 1894 lever action rifle that was manufactured in1929. It is chambered in 32 Winchester Special. It features a 26" full octagon barrel, full length magazine tube, dovetailed blade front sight, buckhorn rear sight, Vintage Lyman folding adjustable rear peep tang sight probably original to the rifle, smooth walnut forend & straight wristed buttstock, steel crescent buttplate.

Condition: 
Bore is very good bright condition +8. Retains 65% bright original blued finish with some fading and thinning, bare metal on edges & high spots, some scattered light patina on receiver, small dents on receiver extension. Forend cap has hole on bottom that was probably used to attach a sling swivel. Wood is very good, lightly varnished, small dents, hole under butt for (removed) sling stud. Markings are sharp. The action is smooth and locks up well. The rifle comes easily apart with the takedown and when assembled locks up firm with no play.
