WINCHESTER MODEL 53 RIFLE IN 25-20 WCF

Description:
22 inch round barrel chambered in 25-20 WCF caliber and button magazine. Bore is bright and shiny with decent rifling. Most original barrel blue with just a few freckles scattered here and there. Receiver shows about 60% finish showing signs of light cleaning. Walnut stocks have been freshened up appearing to have been lightly cleaned showing light handling marks and a tightly repaired crack about an inch for the toe. Ribbed steel shotgun buttplate. Only 24,916 Model 53 rifles were made from 1924-32 and this one was made in 1927.
