Up for sale is my Winchester 88 in 308. Serial numer 56xx, made in 1955, first year production. Bluing is near perfect, bore is excellent
and the wood has minor scratches. No cracks, dents or gouges..
The rifle may have been varnished in the distant past and a period recoil pad added. The pad is 7/8" thick making the LOP 14 1/4".
There is a Lyman receiver sight installed but the stock was not cut.
The scope and rings are not included but the scope base and spare mag go with the rifle.
